In this tutorial, you'll learn how to automate your Instagram lead generation using Wellplan.io. By following these steps, you can create a workflow that captures leads through Instagram DMs, automatically sends them to a funnel, and delivers a lead magnet via email. This process will help you collect leads on autopilot, saving time and improving efficiency.
*NOTE: Watching the video is more simple and straightforward. As in this tutorial, we would learn a variety of modules.

Go to the Wellplan.io dashboard.
Navigate to Settings -> Integrations.
Connect your Instagram business account by following the on-screen prompts.
Go to Automation -> Workflows and click Create New Workflow.
Click on (Start From Scratch)
Click on "Add New Trigger" and set it to Customer Reply.
In the filters, choose Reply Channel: Instagram DM.
Set the contains phrase trigger (e.g., "Rocket" or any unique keyword).
Click Save Trigger.
Add a tag to categorize leads from Instagram (e.g., “Instagram Lead Gen”).
Create an automated reply (e.g., “Hey! You requested more info about my offer blah blah blah. Here’s the link to get started.”).
Add a link in the reply to a landing page or funnel. (which we will create in the next step)
Don't forget to first set it from draft to publish, then hit save.
Go to Sites -> Form -> Builder -> Create a New Form.
Clear the form by clicking the form fields and clicking X button.
Click on the + icon on the top left. Then drag and drop "Full Name" and "Email"
Feel Free to Customize it however you want, and check the theme tab as well.
Make sure to save once you finish.
Go to Sites -> Create New Funnel.
Create a new funnel "From Blank" and name it anything like "Instagram DM Lead Magnet" (you can explore the other templates first)
Create A New Step, and in the path, write whatever you want to be in the link. Then Click to proceed creating the funnel step.
Create from blank.
Click on the + icon on the top left, then drag a Prebuilt section on the large canvas in the middle.
Again, on the + icon on the top left, go to Elements, then drag and drop a Form element wherever you like.
Click on the form and make sure you select the form we have made earlier. Also, make sure the form submission goes to the next step.
Style everything however you want in the right panel, you can change the elements, images ... etc, and customize the look of them.
Make sure you publish the funnel with you domain. If you're not sure how to set up the domain, you can follow this tutorial
Go back to create the next funnel step (super simple, you can duplicate the previous funnel and then customize it with a simple message)
We basically want to set up a thank you page. Make sure you submit and publish it afterwards.
Create a new Automation, with a Trigger "Form Submission" from the lead capture form. (similar to step 2)
Add a tag (e.g., “Lead Captured”) send an email with the promised resource or lead magnet.
Use the email template to send the lead magnet automatically after form submission.
Feel free to customize the workflow however you want.
Here is an example for the follow-up automation.
Use Instagram to DM the keyword (e.g., “Rocket”) and ensure the automation sends the reply, tags the contact, and captures the lead through the form.
Verify the lead receives the email with the lead magnet.
By following these steps, you'll automate Instagram lead generation, capturing leads on autopilot through Wellplan.io. You then have leads ready to receive your other email campaigns, announcements, offers ... etc.
