How setup works

  1. 1Sign in to WellPlan with the user whose Gmail address you want to connect.
  2. 2Open WellPlan's Integrations settings and click Connect Gmail to start Google OAuth.
  3. 3Grant the requested Gmail scopes for reading and sending mail.
  4. 4Test by sending an email from WellPlan and confirming it appears in Gmail's Sent folder and the contact's timeline.

Frequently asked questions

Will emails appear in my Gmail Sent folder?+

Yes. Emails sent through the Gmail integration are sent via Google's API, so they show up in your Sent folder, threaded with replies, and visible from Gmail on any device. Replies come back into both Gmail and WellPlan's inbox simultaneously.

Does this work with personal Gmail or only Workspace?+

Both. Personal @gmail.com accounts and Google Workspace accounts can connect through OAuth. Workspace gives admins additional control over which third-party apps users can connect, so Workspace IT may need to approve the WellPlan app first.

Are there Gmail sending limits?+

Yes. Google enforces sending limits per account — typically 500 messages per day for personal Gmail and 2,000 per day for Workspace. High-volume outbound campaigns should use a dedicated sender such as SendGrid, Mailgun, or Mailchimp rather than personal Gmail accounts.

Can multiple users connect their own Gmail?+

Yes. Each WellPlan user can connect their personal or Workspace Gmail individually so replies route to the right person. This is common for sales teams where each AE wants outbound and replies on their own address.
