Lead Capture Form
A form on a landing page, popup, or chat widget that collects contact details and pushes them into a CRM.
Definition
A lead capture form is the input mechanism that converts an anonymous visitor into a known contact. Fields can range from a single email to fuller qualification questionnaires. Best practice is to ask only what's needed for the next step and progressively enrich later. Forms can live inline on a landing page, in a popup, in a chat widget, embedded in a page, or be replaced by a conversational flow. The captured data is typically sent to a CRM or marketing tool in real time.
Example
A 3-field form on a pricing page asks for name, email, and company size. On submit, the lead is added to the CRM with a tag and an instant WhatsApp reply is fired.
