Lead Generation

Landing Page

A standalone web page built around a single goal — usually capturing a lead or converting a visitor into a buyer.

Definition

A landing page is a focused, single-purpose web page that a visitor "lands" on after clicking an ad, email, or social link. Unlike a typical homepage, it minimizes navigation and competing calls to action and is designed around one conversion goal — sign up, book a demo, download a guide, buy a product. Landing pages are the workhorses of paid acquisition because they let marketers match the message in the ad to the message on the page, lifting conversion rates.

Example

An ad for a free meal-plan template sends visitors to a page with only the headline, three bullet benefits, a hero image, and an email field — nothing else competing for attention.
