Yes. Plivo requires US brands and campaigns to register through TCR (The Campaign Registry) for business SMS over 10-digit long codes. Unregistered traffic gets filtered or throttled and may incur per-message fees, so registration is essential for production volumes.

Does Plivo support WhatsApp?+

Plivo offers WhatsApp Business API access. If your WhatsApp sender is on Plivo, you can route WhatsApp conversations into WellPlan alongside Plivo SMS. Meta's template approval and 24-hour session rules still apply as on any WhatsApp Business API setup.
